Stephen Bryn Nyanga 

Stephen Bryn Nyanga, widely known as Bryn, is a multidisciplinary creative and entrepreneur whose work sits at the intersection of storytelling, technology, and impact. A Certified Professional Photographer (CPP), Bryn has built a career around one core idea: using light to preserve moments, tell stories, and empower people.

With over a decade of experience in photography and videography, Bryn is the founder of Bryn Media Inc., a Boston-based company specializing in weddings and social events. His work is deeply rooted in cultural awareness, particularly within African communities across the diaspora, allowing him to document moments with authenticity, sensitivity, and precision.

Bryn’s journey has never been limited to the camera. He is also a drone pilot, web designer, and digital systems thinker—skills that have allowed him to operate as both a creative and a builder. His early work in Uganda included collaborations with studios and media houses, as well as introducing organized drone work through the African Drone Pilot initiative.

In 2022, he founded Lead Photographer, a non-profit organization created to help photographers transition from hobbyists into sustainable business owners. The initiative focuses on exposing creatives to different photography genres, providing mentorship that combines financial literacy with professional practice, and creating opportunities through challenges and recognition programs. Starting in Uganda, the vision is to expand across East Africa.

Beyond photography, Bryn uses media as a tool for education and storytelling. He hosts “Bryn Dialogues”, a platform dedicated to meaningful conversations, real-life experiences, and sharing knowledge that informs and empowers diverse audiences.

His work also extends into community impact, contributing photography, media, and technical support to organizations such as the Uganda Boston Community Association (UBCA) and Africano Waltham, helping strengthen cultural connections through digital presence and storytelling.
